Welcome to Lunara. By downloading, installing, or using the Lunara application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Lunara is an astrology and personal reflection application. The content provided — including horoscopes, birth charts, compatibility readings, and guidance from Oryn, your celestial guide — is for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only. It is not professional advice of any kind (medical, financial, legal, or psychological).
You may create an account using email or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate birth information for astrological features to function correctly.
Lunara may offer free trial periods for premium subscriptions. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the price displayed at the time of sign-up. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription before the trial ends.
Lunara's premium readings are generated with the help of a language service (powered by OpenAI). They are created algorithmically and may not always be accurate or applicable to your situation. You should not rely on them for important life decisions.
Oryn, your celestial guide, gradually builds a small understanding of you over time so that readings can deepen rather than restart with each visit. This memory is composed of distilled patterns derived from data you have already provided to Lunara — your birth chart, the moods and themes you tag in your journal, the rhythms of how you use the app, your reading history, and the friends you have added. The raw text of your journal entries is never shared with the language service that powers Oryn or used to train any model. A complete description of what Oryn learns from, what is carried beyond your screen, and what stays with you, is provided in our Privacy Policy.
You may review and adjust the channels Oryn is permitted to learn from at any time in Account → Oryn's Memory within the App. You may also use the Forget Me action to permanently erase the memory layer without deleting your account or your journal entries. Disabling channels or invoking Forget Me may cause Oryn's readings to feel less personal until you re-enable them.
You retain ownership of any content you create within the App, such as journal entries and personal notes. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely for the purpose of providing the App's functionality to you. You also grant us permission, where you have not opted out, to extract anonymous patterns from your journal entries on your device (such as the moods you tag and the words you use most often) and to use those distilled patterns — but never the raw text — to personalize Oryn's readings.

All content, design, graphics, icons, and code within Lunara are the property of AveryNelly and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without written permission.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the App's account settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Active subscriptions should be cancelled separately through the App Store before deleting your account.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content will be accurate or reliable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AveryNelly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
